Diglipur is 298km (approx.) away from Port Blair (Capital of Andaman & Nicobar Island) by Road.

  • Saddle Peak is Situated in Diglipur, it is the highest peak of Andaman & Nicobar Island with a height of 732m (above sea level).
  • Kalpong is the only river that flows in the Andaman group of Islands, other Galathiea and Alexandria rivers are presents in Campbell Bay (Great Nicobar Island) which comes under the Nicobar Group of Islands.

    • Boats are available from Phoenix Bay Jetty (Port Blair)
    • Boats are available Twice or Thrice in a week  to reach.
    • Aerial bay jetty is arrival point of the boat and it is very near to Kalipur.

Smith and Ross Island

Smith and Ross Islands are sister islands separated by a bar of sand. During high tide, the sandbar submerges under water and the two islands appear separate. The beach at this location is rated number one among all the existing beaches of Andaman lands. Smith and Ross offer a virgin beach followed by a tropical forest.

Ross and Smith Island is a 20-minute (distance 5 km) boat ride from Arial Bay jetty and is an ideal spot for Beach tourism, Adventure (trekking through tropical forest), Research / Education (like scuba diving, snorkelling, turtle nesting).
